24/01/20 Week 18


Our visit to the theatre this Thursday was a great success. The show was very entertaining and the main performers used instruments made from recycled materials, so it tied-in with our environmental project. The students enjoyed it very much.

Writing - DADWAVER sentence starters:

Reading - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Chapter 1

Grammar and Punctuation - verb tenses, embedded clauses

Spellings  -  rhyme / programme / rhythm / shoulder / recognise / sincerely / profession / queue / signature / stomach


Finding unit and non-unit fractions of amounts (e.g. one quarter of 872 / three quarters of 872)

Topic - Environmental Awareness

Science - wind turbines and blade design.

Art - combining mark making and colour mixing.
